Former Trump Attorney Michael Cohen Subpoenaed By House Intelligence Committee

The House Intelligence Committee on Thursday subpoenaed Micheal Cohen to testify sometime in Mid-February. The subpoena comes one day after Cohen postponed his scheduled Feb. 7 appearance before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee citing “threats” by President Trump and his attorney Rudy Giuliani.

The subpoena report came hours after Mr. Cohen’s lawyer, Lanny Davis demanded Congress launch a criminal investigation into Mr. Trump and Mr. Giuliani saying the threats amounted to witness tampering.

Mr. Davis told ABC’s Good Morning America: “A resolution of censure when the president of the United States indisputably intimidates and obstructs Justice to prevent a witness from testifying is in order. So is a federal criminal investigation of Rudy Giuliani for witness tampering.”
